OKC Dining Club Code of Conduct

Welcome to the OKC Dining Club — a community where connection, kindness, and respect are at the heart of every gathering. To keep our space safe and welcoming for everyone, we ask all members to honor the following guidelines.

1. Be Honest and Kind

  • If you’re not interested in pursuing a friendship with someone, please communicate with gentle honesty.

  • Approach all interactions with empathy and openness.

2. No Gossip or Negative Talk

  • Gossip or speaking negatively about fellow members outside of direct conversations is not permitted.

  • If concerns arise, please address them privately or bring them to the host.

3. Handle Conflicts Respectfully and Privately

  • Any disagreements should be resolved only between the parties involved, without involving others unnecessarily.

  • If you need assistance, the host is available to mediate and support resolution.

4. Respect Boundaries and Consent

  • Be mindful and respectful of others’ comfort levels regarding personal space, sharing, and conversation topics.

5. Commitment to Attendance and Communication

  • Please RSVP thoughtfully and attend events you commit to.

  • If you cannot attend, notify the host as early as possible.

6. Confidentiality

  • What’s shared within the Dining Club remains confidential, fostering a safe space for openness and trust.

7. Inclusivity and Respect

  • We welcome all adults who respect and uplift one another regardless of background, identity, or beliefs.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated.

8. Refunds

  • Ticket Refunds:

    • We know that life happens. Here’s how we handle cancellations:

      • Tickets are non-refundable due to hours of coordination and care with our partners and vendors especially when confirming headcount. Your ticket ensures we don’t waste food, time, or a seat someone else would have loved.

      • Feasting members receive 1 courtesy quarterly reschedule of an event.

  • For Yearly Memberships:

    • Non-Refundable: Yearly memberships are non-refundable once purchased. Because members receive immediate access to exclusive perks, discounts, and community benefits, we are unable to offer refunds for unused time.

    • Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time to prevent renewal for the following year. Cancellation will not affect your current access through the end of your paid term.

    • Grace Period: If you feel unsure about committing, we recommend starting with a monthly plan before upgrading to annual.

Consequences

The host reserves the right to remove any member who violates this Code of Conduct at their discretion. In serious cases, removal may be immediate to protect the safety and harmony of the community. By participating in this community, you agree to uphold the Code of Conduct.
