Oklahoma City Dining Club Community Agreement
Welcome to the Oklahoma City Dining Club — a space to share great meals, discover new favorites, and meet wonderful strangers who become new friends that turn into old friends.
How lame that we need to say all this, BUT it’s truly important that you read through the community agreement and understand that by participating as a member, you agree to abide by it.
Lead With Kindness & Honesty
Friendship is a gift, not an obligation. If you’re not feeling a connection, you can be honest while still being kind. Treat everyone with empathy, openness, and respect.
Keep Our Table Free of Gossip
We’re all adults. Speaking negatively about fellow members outside of direct, respectful conversation isn’t welcome here. If something’s on your mind, bring it to the person directly, or to me, and I’ll help or facilitate mediation.
Conflict Will Happen
Disagreements happen. What matters is how we handle them. Please keep concerns private between those involved and reach out for support if you need help finding resolution.
Respect Boundaries & Comfort Zones
Everyone has different comfort levels with touch, topics, and sharing. Pay attention to cues and honor “no” and “not right now” without question. Harassment, unwanted attention, or pressure of any kind will not be tolerated.
Life Happens
If plans change, and you can no longer make it, let us know as soon as possible so a waitlisted member can take your spot.
Come to Connect, Not Sell
Our gatherings are for relationship-building, not networking or solicitation. Selling, recruiting, pitching, or promoting products or services is not permitted unless it comes up organically.
What’s Shared Here, Stays Here
Our conversations (the light, the deep, the unexpected) are not to be shared with others. Confidentiality helps create a space where people can truly open up.
Respect Our Restaurant & Venue Partners
Many Dining Club events are hosted in partnership with local restaurants and businesses. Because these experiences are curated and not reflective of a standard guest visit, members agree not to leave public reviews, positive or negative, of venues visited as part of Dining Club events. Violation will result in immediate removal.
Alcohol & Personal Responsibility
If alcohol is present, members are expected to consume responsibly and arrange safe transportation as needed. Participation in Dining Club events is voluntary, and members agree to take responsibility for their own well-being, choices, and actions during and surrounding events.
Photography & Media
Photos or videos may be taken at events for community or promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded. If you prefer not to be filmed, please let the host know so we can accommodate you!
Respect
All, regardless of background, identity, or beliefs are welcome as long as they share our commitment to respect and kindness. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion have no place here and will not be tolerated.
Protecting the Community
To care for the experience we’re building, Oklahoma City Dining Club reserves the right to limit or revoke event access or membership if behavior does not align with these agreements. In these cases, refunds are not guaranteed.
Refunds & Cancellations
Event Tickets: If an event is canceled or rescheduled, you can opt for a refund if the new date doesn’t work with your schedule. Members may cancel up to 72 hours before an event.
Memberships: Non-refundable. You may cancel anytime to avoid renewal; access remains active through the end of your paid term.
I’ve Got You
My role is to protect this community and the people in it. If something feels off or someone’s behavior doesn’t align with what we’ve agreed to here, please reach out. I’m here to listen and help.
